
A creamy and refreshing traditional Mexican rice-based drink flavored with cinnamon and vanilla.

cup white rice

piece cinnamon stick

Directions

Rinse the white rice under cold water and drain.

In a blender, combine the rice, cinnamon stick, and 2 cups of water. Blend until smooth.

Let the blended mixture sit at room temperature for at least 3 hours or overnight.

Strain the rice mixture through a fine sieve or cheesecloth into a pitcher.

Stir in sugar, vanilla extract, milk, and the remaining water until well combined.
